CICADA, 2024 model, same as the Piccolo 2023 except a three-wheeler mobility scooter with the addition of a foot brake.

CICADA is a great looking LEMS with smooth sleek lines, a high gloss and a luxurious interior, adjustable high quality Leather Captain Seat with three point retractable seat belt, spacious rear seat with lap seat belt, for 2x passengers (you will be required to obtain local road regulators approval) but otherwise great for shopping etc., push button start, remote electric doors and electric windows, sunroof opening window, rear opening window, window wiper with washer, rear view mirrors, reversing camera, and a heater and demister for use on those colder days in winter.

Cicada 2024 is identical to Piccolo 2023 except it is has three wheels and foot brake, the second iteration.

Motor and Battery Combination:

CICADA, has a 60V 1500W Brushless DC motor.

CICADA has a 50Ah Lithium NiCoMnO2 battery. LiNiCoMnO2 battery is so much better than the Lead Acid Battery, in many ways, including much improved performance and overall driving cost.
In practice depending on driving style, terrain, load, speed, climate, etc, CICADA will take you between 35-40 km distance with the 50Ah battery. You may get more, but remember Lithium batteries have a short end phase in their power supply, so run out quickly.

The CICADA 50Ah Lithium NiCoMnO2 battery has an actual expected 45 km travel distance.
An optional battery, having a capacity of 100 Ah is available giving a total range of about 90 km.

The CICADA NiCoMnO2 battery should be charged when the battery has been discharged to 80% DOD (20% SOC). [DOD is Depth Of Discharge : SOC is State Of Charge] This will be when the battery charge shows about 57V while driving at a steady speed on the flat.
Do not let the battery voltage go below 55V at any time while driving. At 52V, the BMS will switch off to protect the battery.

The CICADA NiCoMnO2 battery life-span is rated at 500 cycles if treated properly.
In summary, with regular heavy use they will do 500 cycles, and last 3-5 years.

Please note, this information is as per this particular type of Lithium battery and is not what you may know or be told about other types of Lithium batteries.
